This image sparked a new style of painting offered for Elegantly Painted clients. It has a little more of an animated/illustrative look to it with a dash of Norman Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post. This darling little doll had the cutest expression that was totally perfect for this style of painting. I was thrilled when my client commissioned three others to hang as a matching set.

The loose strands of hair coming out from her big pink rollers and her little fuzzy bear really added a nice touch to the painting. I wanted to paint lots of light in her eyes. My client requested to have the little girl's bangs painted out of her right eye if it was possible...so I did :)
This one was a real treat!
